Your Dress Day Appointment: Everything you Need to Know

So they've been down on one knee, popped the Big Question, now it's official... You're going to be a Wifey! The next Big Question - what will you wear?

We are blessed to be Kent's largest Bridal Boutique with over 300 Designer gowns and bespoke accessories. We are a dedicated team of stylists with over 30 years experience helping thousands of Brides find their Dream Dresses for their Big Day.

Starting the journey to find your perfect gown can be daunting, but we are here to help! The Amore Girls have compiled some helpful tips and advice to know ahead of Dress Day.

How it Works:

Our boutique offers Bridal Appointments Monday-Sunday, available to book via our website. Be sure to book in advance to secure a date that works for you and your Bride Tribe! Once we've received your request, one of the Amore Girls will soon be in touch to secure your appointment - now the countdown to Dress Day is on!

Upon arriving at our boutique and enjoying a complimentary glass of bubbles, your dedicated Bridal Stylist will get to know you and learn how we can help you on your Dress Journey. We are highly trained and know all of our dresses inside and out, and will go above and beyond to give every Bride a one-to-one styling experience they will remember for the rest of their lives.

Whilst 300 dresses might sound overwhelming, don't panic! You will very quickly begin to narrow down your Bridal Style and find features that you like, curating a more personalised selection of dresses to try as we move through your 90 minute appointment. Your stylist will help with recommending gowns to try, accessorising with veils and jewellery and discussing alterations and final touches to make your look aisle-worthy. Who knows, maybe The One is closer than you think...

Top Tips:

• Your 'I Do' Crew: We are so lucky to have plenty of space at our boutique and have no limit on guests for Dress Day. However, we advise thinking carefully about who you'd like with you on the day. Bringing a few supportive, constructive and encouraging friends and family with you will keep the appointment enjoyable and productive, whilst too many differing opinions can be confusing and overwhelming for a Bride. If any of your Bridal Party can't make it to Dress Day, we offer Dress Reveals at the boutique to showcase your 'Yes Dress'!

• Get Pin-spired: If you're anything like us, you have your whole wedding vision compiled into a perfectly curated Pinterest Board, and before you ask - yes, we want to see! Having visual inspiration is not only helpful for you as a Bride to envisage your perfect day, it's helpful for your stylist to make sure we're all on the same page when creating your wedding look.

• Be Open Minded: Whilst you may have an idea of what you think you might want, it's important to trust the process - trying dresses and accessories that are a little different to your usual style will either broaden your horizons to a whole new set of possibilities, or it will confirm that your original vibe is right for you. You never know, that wild card dress your stylist pulls out for you might just tick all of the boxes...

• Don't Break the Bank: We get it - Weddings can be expensive! If you're budgeting for your Big Day, be sure to set your budget with your stylist at the beginning of your appointment. With so many dresses to choose from, once our team have an idea of your style and vibe, we can select more budget-friendly sisters to your favourite dresses, meaning you can say Yes to the Dress, for less. We have gowns starting at £1500, meaning we can cater for every Bride and every budget!

• Enjoy Every Moment!: This is a once in a lifetime experience - choosing the Dress you will wear to walk down the aisle to forever. No matter what is going on outside, once you step through the doors of our boutique you enter a safe space to enjoy every second and make memories you and your loved ones will cherish forever.
